Meet the doctors at NeuroAxis Health

The doctors have completed a vast amount of education and training, coupling their knowledge with experience centered around personalizing each patient's physical and neurological rehabilitation.

Dr. Rachman Chung

Dr. Chung is a board-certified chiropractic neurologist. He graduated cum laude from Palmer College of Chiropractic, West. He received his neurology training from the Carrick Institute and has completed specialty training in functional medicine, vestibular rehabilitation, movement disorders, Active Release Techniques, and a three-year fellowship program in traumatic brain injuries and rehabilitation with Ted Carrick, the founder of chiropractic neurology.

Dr. Chung has the following degrees and certifications: Doctor of Chiropractic, Diplomate of the American Chiropractic Neurology Board, Fellow of the American College of Functional Neurology, Active Release Techniques, Cranial Fluid Dynamics, and Zen Shiatsu.

Dr. Chung is a Bay Area native who has lived in San Francisco since 2000. Prior to becoming a chiropractor, Dr. Chung was a competitive skateboarder. He doesn't skate as much as he'd like to, "because cement is an unforgiving teacher." These days he enjoys biking and kite surfing and is a member of the Loose Change dance company.

Dr. Jessica Tolentino

Dr. Tolentino is dedicated to helping patients through the integration of Chiropractic Care, Functional Neurology, and Applied Neuroscience. She began working in the field of Applied Neuroscience in 2014 while studying at UCLA and working in an addiction treatment center utilizing QEEG brain imaging and neurofeedback/biofeedback techniques to treat patients with substance use disorders, ADHD, anxiety, seizure disorders, sleep issues, and traumatic brain injuries, among other disorders. As she began to witness the powerful results achieved by these modalities in helping individuals suffering from complex disorders, she made it her mission to popularize their use and to educate the wider community about the significance and accessibility of brain health optimization.

Dr. Tolentino graduated from UCLA in 2016 with a B.Sc. in Psychobiology. She then went on to complete her Doctorate of Chiropractic at SCUHS in 2022. She is presently working to complete her hours as a Functional Neurology Diplomate and Fellow of the American Board of Brain Injury and Rehabilitation with the Carrick Institute.

When she’s not helping patients or studying in neighborhood coffee shops, you can find her lifting weights in the gym, checking out local restaurants and dives, attending music festivals, or exploring a new country on her bucket list.
